Soot Blower & Boiler Grate Replacement
Challenge
Boiler grate sections were worn past tolerance, and two soot blowers had failed retract cycles.
Approach
We replaced grate sections in the affected zones and rebuilt both soot blower assemblies during the scheduled outage.
Outcome
The unit returned to full load one day ahead of the outage window.
